US Lewiston Mass Shooting Latest News Today: In a shocking incident, at least 22 people were killed, while over 60 people were injured in a mass shooting incident that took place in Lewiston, Maine, in the United States. According to information, the incident took place late on Wednesday (US local time).
As per the pictures revealed by the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office, the suspect can be seen holding a rifle in the firing position. The Sheriff's Office stated that he was at large. Also, it asked for the public's support in identifying the suspect seen in the picture.
Maine Police Department stated that "Law Enforcement is attempting to locate Robert Card 4/4/1983, as a person of interest regarding the mass shooting at Schemengees Bar and Sparetime Recreation in US' Lewiston this evening.
In the meanwhile, a statement was issued by the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston which stated that it was "reacting to a mass casualty and mass shooter event". It also stated that it has been coordinating with area hospitals to take injured patients.
