Opposition chooses inauspicious path by wearing black on an auspicious Tuesday
Shri Nitin Nabin, Minister of Road Construction in the Government of Bihar and BJP MLA from Bankipur, strongly condemned the unruly behavior and noise created by the opposition during today’s Assembly proceedings. He said that while the state government is consistently working with a focus on public welfare and infrastructure development, the opposition alliance is attempting to distract the public and weaken democratic institutions.
Raising serious questions about the opposition's intentions, he stated, “We are taking Bihar to new heights in the fields of roads, bridges, and connectivity. The opposition is clearly uncomfortable with this progress, and that’s why it has resorted to politics of falsehoods, obstructions, and rumors. It is now evident that the opposition alliance has no concern for the nation or for Bihar. By disrupting the Monsoon Session, they are pursuing only their political interests proving that their priority is not the people, but power. And by wearing black on an auspicious Tuesday, they have clearly chosen the path of negativity.
He further added that the Assembly is a platform for democratic dialogue, but the opposition has repeatedly turned it into a battleground of chaos. “These are the same parties that kept Bihar in darkness for years, and now, when the people are finally experiencing the fruits of development, their political ground is slipping,” he said.
The Minister concluded by asserting that under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, the NDA government is firmly committed to the agenda of good governance and development, and no political disruption will be allowed to stand in the way of public interest.
