Residential Consumers: Those consuming beyond the state’s free quota of 300 units will see a reduction of 70 paise per unit. Fixed monthly charges for households have also been lowered by five to ten rupees per kilowatt.
Commercial Sector: Traders and shopkeepers will pay 65 to 79 paise less per unit, depending on their sanctioned load.
Electric Vehicles: Charging electricity will now be billed at a fixed rate of five rupees per unit, the lowest among all consumer categories.
Industrial Connections: Fixed charges for connections up to 100 kilowatts have been reduced, and tariffs for industries will remain unchanged during the financial year 2026–27.
