Sharing the video, Shami emphasized the fortunate second chance that the accident victim received, stating, "He is very lucky that God gave that person a second life. His car fell down the mountain road near Nainital right in front of my car. We got him out safely."

Following his stellar performance in the ODI World Cup, where he achieved the distinction of taking the fastest 50 wickets in the tournament's 48-year history, Shami was on his way to Nainital for a well-deserved break.
