Two Arrested In May 14 Murder Of Harjeet Singh Dhadd, latest news: Peel Regional Police, Canada, arrested two suspects in connection with the deadly shooting of 51-year-old Harjeet Singh Dhadda, a Brampton resident.
Dhadda was killed in Mississauga on May 14 in broad daylight. The shooting reportedly occurred at around 11:49 a.m. in a parking lot near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way. Dhadda was approached and shot multiple times. He later succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
The suspects reportedly fled the scene in a stolen black 2018 Dodge Challenger, which was soon located and recovered by police.
Following a thorough investigation, the Homicide Bureau identified two 21-year-old men from Delta, British Columbia, as the primary suspects. They have been identified as Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay.
The duo was arrested in Delta on May 28 with coordinated assistance from Delta Police, Abbotsford Police, Surrey Police, and the RCMP.
The suspects were first presented before a Justice in Surrey, then transferred to Ontario under BC Sheriff custody. They face first-degree murder charges and appeared for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on June 1.
Further investigations are underway.
