Bathinda: Videos showing a girl displaying weapons has gone viral on social media, prompting police action. Bathinda Police have initiated the process of registering a case at Thermal Police Station in connection with the incident.
Issuing a warning, the police have appealed to the general public not to upload or circulate videos related to weapons on social media platforms.
Bathinda Police stated that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the law by sharing such content.
Police said, “Two viral videos have come to our notice in which a woman can be seen firing what appears to be a small weapon, while another video shows her holding a gun. These videos were shared on social media platforms.
“Flaunting weapons on social media is legally prohibited, and an FIR has been registered in this connection,” the police office added.
The police office further added that during the course of the investigation, it will be ascertained whether the weapons were licensed and their place of origin.
