Claim: A video is doing rounds on social media in which a girl can be seen marrying an older person is being shared with the claim that a 24-year-old daughter married her father and when questioned regarding this, she aggressively replied, "Why does it bother you, we are happy".

Spokesman Fact Check in its investigation found this claim to be misleading. This viral video is a scripted play not a real incident.
Investigation
Starting ithe nvestigation, we first carefully watched this video and further extracted keyframes to perform reverse image search on them.
Reverse Image Search result took us to the original video. We found the extended and full version of the viral video shared on November 2, 2024, on a Facebook page named Ankita Karotiya. At the 47th second of this 7-minute-long video, we found a disclaimer stating that this video is made for entertainment purposes.
The disclaimer clearly states that the video is not intended to insult or defame anyone on the basis of race, color, ancestry, national origin, age, religion, marital or parental status, physical or mental disability.
There are many videos made for entertainment purposes on this page in which similar actors can be seen.
On searching for Ankita Karotiya, we also found her Youtube account. Her Youtube channel is called Royal Tiger and we found similar actors in other videos uploaded on her channel, which makes it clear that the viral video is a scripted play.
Conclusion
Spokesman Fact Check in its investigation found this claim to be misleading. This viral video is a scripted play not a real incident.
