Ludhiana: Government school students inaugurated the India’s first ever educational channel named, “TV School”, at Baron Hotel in Ludhiana on Thursday.
The Chief Guest for the inauguration, renowned poet Padma Shri Sujeet Patar was welcomed by CEO of the channel, Prof. SS Aujla along with students.
Aujla addressed, “This channel will reach out to the students who don’t have access to good schools regular tuitions. Many students, who live in far flung area’s particularly girls students, will be benefited by this channel”.
In an initial stage, students of class 9th to 12th will get the lessons of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Vedic mathematics, English & IELTS’’.
In the second phase, lectures regarding the competitive exams for jobs & personality development courses will be delivered. To make them understandable, the basic concepts of science subjects & English grammar teachers of the ‘TV SCHOOL’ will adopt bilingual (English + Punjabi) methods. Dr.Surjeet Patar has been consented as a brand ambassador of this channel.
A bunch of teachers, scholars, writers, educationist and social activist attended the function here on Thursday.
