8 Mobile Phones Recovered from Faridkot Central Modern Jail, Police Registers FIR
FARIDKOT: More digital gadgets have been recovered from Faridkot Central Modern Jail during search. Atleast 8 mobile phones have been recovered during a surprise search conducted by the jail administration in the barracks of the jail.
The jail administration has registered cases against accused at police station. On the complaint of the Assistant Superintendent of Jail, Shivam Tej Singla, the police have recovered one mobile phone each from Jail Inmate Sukhdev Singh, Rahul and registered a case. Other Mobiles phones were recovered from Bathrooms of the Jail.
Notably, imprisoned gangsters or other jail inmates used these gadgets to operate their networks from inside the jail. This has become a major matter of concern for the administration.
