Speaker Kultar Sandhawan appealed to the people to maintain peace
CHANDIGARH: Expressing deep sorrow over the recent incidents near Sri Darbar Sahib, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan said that these incidents are a matter of concern.
In a press statement issued here, Speaker Sardar Sandhawan appealed to the people to maintain peace and said that with the continuous incidents, there is a conspiracy to scare the pilgrims coming from all over the world with devotion, which the Punjab government will never allow to succeed. .
He said that some anti-Punjab forces are not tolerating the peace, brotherhood and progress of the state. The speaker asked the police administration to quickly arrest the perpetrators of these incidents as well as the masterminds of this nefarious conspiracy and tighten the security arrangements in the state.
