Voting on 37 Rajya Sabha Seats Set for March 16 Across 10 States: ECI

Voting for 37 Rajya Sabha seats across 10 states will take place on March 16, 2026, the Election Commission of India said.

The formal election process will commence with the notification on February 26. Counting will be conducted on the day of polling itself. These biennial elections are being held as the tenure of 37 members of the Upper House is set to expire in April 2026.
