Explosion at Former Minister Manoranjan’s Residence, Forensic Investigation Underway, Latest News: An explosion occurred at the residence of former minister Manoranjan late last night. Investigations are currently underway.

According to preliminary reports, three individuals arrived at the scene, two on a bike and one in an e-rickshaw. One of them allegedly threw a grenade at the house, which reportedly damaged the main entrance door.

The incident took place around 1:00 am while the minister was asleep inside. He stated that the window panes of his house and a car parked outside were damaged in the blast. The main doors of the house also appear to have sustained damage.

The minister confirmed that the police have conducted a forensic investigation. DCP Manpreet Singh and other officials arrived at the spot, and forensic teams are continuing their examination, according to reports.

“The forensic team is investigating the matter,” Singh told PTI.

Manoranjan Kalia, a former Punjab minister and senior BJP leader, resides near Shastri Market in Jalandhar, Punjab.
