The airline stated that the realignment work is being carried out under the directives of EASA and Airbus.

Air India, on Saturday, confirmed that there have been no flight cancellations amid the ongoing mandatory software and hardware realignment affecting A320 family aircraft worldwide.

However, the airline noted that some flights may be “slightly delayed or rescheduled.” “There isn't any major impact on schedule integrity across our network,” Air India said in a post on X.

“Our colleagues on ground are there to assist the passengers,” it added.

The airline stated that the realignment work is being carried out under the directives of EASA and Airbus.

“Following EASA and Airbus directives for a mandatory software and hardware realignment on A320 family aircraft worldwide, our engineers have been working round-the-clock to complete the task at the earliest,” Air India said.

“We have already completed the reset on over 40% of our aircraft that are impacted by this, and are confident of covering the entire fleet within the timeline prescribed by EASA,” it added.

Air India has requested passengers “to remain patient” and advised them to check the latest flight status on its website or contact the airline’s customer support before heading to the airport.

It asked travellers to verify updates at flight-status page or call the contact centre at 011-69329333 or 011-69329999 “before heading to the airport to help us reduce any inconvenience.”
