Dubai Plane Crash: The Indian Air Force has confirmed the demise of the Pilot in the Tejas Crash during an aerial display at Dubai Air Show, on Friday.
"An IAF Tejas aircraft met with an accident during an aerial display at Dubai Air Show, today. The pilot sustained fatal injuries in the accident. IAF deeply regrets the loss of life and stands firmly with the bereaved family in this time of grief. A court of inquiry is being constituted, to ascertain the cause of the accident," IAF confirmed.

The crash occurred at around 2:10 pm local time today. The aircraft was an indegeniously manufactured one. Experts say that it has an excellent safety record. There had only been one accident, occurred last year.
The country mourns the loss of the precious life of the brave soldier.
Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan and all ranks of the Indian Armed Forces have expressed regret over the loss of the pilot.
