Plane Crash Dubai: A plane crashed on Friday during a demonstration at the Dubai Air Show, AP reported. It said that the Indian HAL Tejas crashed around 2:10 p.m. local time while performing a demonstration flight for the crowd.
It was not immediately clear whether the pilot managed to eject, the report added. In visuals of the accident, the plane can be seen nose-diving and crashing to the ground while trying to lift, subsequently erupting into a large ball of flames and dark smoke.
The smoke can be seen emanating from the crash site. The plane crashed in front of a large audience who were there to enjoy a flight show. Among the audience are children, some of whom can be heard crying in visuals coming in from the site.

Experts say that the craft has an excellent safety record. There has been only one crash earlier, with today's crash taking the total crashes to 2.

According to India Today, IAF has confirmed the demise of the Pilot in the Crash.
