An air hostess was allegedly sexually assaulted while she was admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram, the police said.
An FIR has been registered on the basis of the air hostess’s complaint against the alleged assaulters of the hospital at the Sadar Police Station on Monday.
Officials said that the woman was admitted to the hospital after she fell sick following a swim in the pool of the hotel where she was staying.
The 46-year-old air hostess was on a ventilator in the ICU when the assault happened.
"On April 6, I was on a ventilator when some hospital staff sexually assaulted me," she said.
She was admitted on April 5 and was discharged on April 6, following which she shared the incident with her husband and later approached the police.
A spokesperson for the Gurugram Police said, "The victim's statement has been recorded before the magistrate in court. The police team is examining the hospital's CCTV footage and will soon identify the accused."
The spokesperson added that further investigations are underway and assured that the accused will be arrested.
