Amitabh Bachchan Buys 2.67-Acre Plot in Ayodhya for 35 Crore Near The Sarayu Project
Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a 2.67-acre plot in Ayodhya for 35 crore rupees, marking his fourth real estate investment through his company, AB Corp Limited. The acquisition was completed via Rajesh Yadav, managing director of AB Corp, the actor’s corporate entity, the realty firm House of Abhinandan Lodha (HOABL) said in a statement.
The new plot is located near HOABL’s 75-acre luxury development project, The Sarayu. Amitabh Bachchan had previously invested in this project in January 2024, and he also owns a plot in the company’s Sol De Alibaug project. HOABL noted that this Ayodhya purchase is Bachchan’s third investment in the city.
Abhinandan Lodha, chairman of HOABL, said that Ayodhya is emerging as an attractive destination for long-term land investment due to consistent infrastructure development and government initiatives. He added that HOABL has sold more than 1.3 crore square feet of developed land in the past five years and continues development on approximately 3.4 crore square feet.
The actor’s investment highlights a growing trend of celebrities entering the luxury real estate market in India. The move also underscores Ayodhya’s increasing appeal for high-value property buyers seeking strategic and long-term opportunities.
With this purchase, Amitabh Bachchan continues to diversify his portfolio while contributing to the development of the city as a prime location for real estate investments.
