Castor seed bold and castor oil commercial recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on renewed demand from soaps and shippers industries. While refined palmolein eased further owing to reduced demand from retail buyers. Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Refined palmolein eased
In the non-edible segment, castor seed bold climbed by Rs 60 per 100 kg to Rs 4,460 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 4,400 and castor oil commercial also moved down by Rs 12 per 10 kg to Rs 922 as against Rs 910 yesterday. Linseed oil ended unaltered to Rs 850 per 10 kg. Moving to the edible section, refined palmolein edged down by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 693 as compared to Rs 697 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 830 per 10 kg.
