 CBSE to Conduct Two Board Exams a Year latest news: The Education Ministry, which is headed by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, recently had intensive talks with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) regarding the issue of holding two board exams in a year from the upcoming academic session. The move, revealed on social media by Pradhan, aims to promote an atmosphere of no stress among students. The suggestion is likely to be proposed for public consultation soon.

In addition, the ministry has directed the government to implement a Global Curriculum for Foreign Schools by the 2026-27 academic session. At a high-level meeting attended by key officials such as the Secretary of DOSEL, Secretary ER, MEA, and directors of CBSE, NCERT, KVS, and NVS as well as members from global schools, the proposals for the initiative were discussed in detail. The meeting, which was presided over by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, stressed the importance of a very detailed action plan to be formulated by CBSE for the implementation of the Global Curriculum for Foreign Schools in the coming academic year.

The discussions pointed towards the significance of the CBSE Global Curriculum for Foreign Schools in increasing global accessibility and education quality offered by Indian schools. The program intends to provide a standardized curriculum that stick to international standards, thus serving students from diverse nations.
