Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann slams opposition in Vidhan Sabha
Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday lashed out at the opposition, particularly senior Congress leader Partap Bajwa, over his claims that over 32 AAP MLAs were in touch with him. Addressing the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Special Session, CM Mann dismissed the statements as mere political gossip and accused the opposition of failing to work for the people.
Referring to repeated speculations about his tenure, Mann said, "There were rumors that I wouldn’t remain CM for more than six months. When I completed six months, they said I wouldn’t last a year. Then they claimed I would be removed after the Delhi elections. They keep fabricating fake agendas, but I am still here."
