Jharkhand pacer Varun Aaron and Mumbai opener Prithvi Shaw have been included in India Green and India Red squads respectively for Duleep Trophy 2017. They were named as last-minute replacements after several players backed out due to number of issues.

From India Green, Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer and Jammu & Kashmir all-rounder Parvez Rasool have opted out of the tournament. While Iyer is nursing an injured knee, Rasool is reportedly expected to leave for Haj. India Red, on the other hand, sees three exclusions from the original squad. While Tamil Nadu skipper Abhinav Mukund is down with dengue, Dhawal Kulkarni and Ambati Rayudu also won't be available for the tournament.

Pacer Siddhart Kaul, who was named in India Green squad initially, has been picked to play for India Red in the Duleep Trophy opener at Lucknow's Ekana International Cricket Stadium.

While India Red is playing with a squad of 14 in the opening match, India Green have a squad of 13. There is no official announcement yet on the availability or replacements of players for India Blue.
