SpiceJet on Thursday announced it will operate 13 special flights from the United Arab Emirates to India to help passengers stranded due to escalating tensions in West Asia.

According to the airline, 12 of these flights will depart from Fujairah, while one will operate from Dubai. The services include seven flights to Mumbai, five to Delhi, and one from Dubai to Mumbai.

The airline added that on Tuesday and Wednesday, it had already operated 12 special flights from Fujairah to Delhi, Mumbai, and Kochi, assisting passengers stranded across multiple Indian cities.

SpiceJet noted that rising geopolitical conflicts involving the United States, Israel, and Iran have disrupted air travel in the region, leading to a significant number of passengers facing delays or being unable to return home. The airline’s special operations aim to provide timely and safe travel options for affected travelers.

Officials said the flights will follow all safety and operational protocols, and passengers are advised to check the airline’s website and contact customer care for updates on schedules and boarding procedures.

With these additional services, SpiceJet aims to ensure that travelers impacted by the West Asia crisis can return to India without further delays.
