England fast bowler James Anderson reaches the landmark of 500 wickets in the third test playing against West Indies. He bowled West Indies opener Kraigg Brathwaite to reach this landmark.

James Anderson is only the third fast bowler in the world in reaching this landmark after Glenn Mcgrath and Courtney Walsh. He felt emotional after taking his 500th wicket.

"I felt a bit emotional on the field because I knew my family were there, my kids, my mum and dad, my missus," he said. "Knowing they were there made it very special.

He becomes the first Englishman and only the sixth bowler in history to reach 500 Test match wickets.
