Notably, The stage was set for Nepal to chase down the target, but their batting lineup faced an early setback as Shaheen Afridi struck in the very first over of the innings. Struggling to establish a solid foundation, Nepal saw three of their players returning to the pavilion with only 14 runs on the scoreboard. Despite determined efforts by Arif Sheikh and Sompal Kami, Nepal couldn't sustain a robust partnership against Pakistan's skillful bowling attack.

Nepal's batsmen struggled to make headway against the Pakistani bowlers, and their innings eventually concluded at 104 runs for the loss of all wickets in 23.4 overs. Sompal Kami's valiant effort of 28 runs off 46 balls emerged as the standout performance for Nepal, highlighting the challenges posed by Pakistan's bowlers.
