Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the final against the winner of Qualifier 2.

IPL 2025 Qualifier 1 PBKS vs RCB Winner Latest News Today: RCB! RCB! RCB! Although the Mullanpur Stadium in New Chandigarh was all red to support Punjab Kings, the fans of Royal Challengers Bengaluru will go home smiling as RCB has entered the final after 9 years, following a dominating victory against Punjab in a low-scoring match. 

Nothing went in the favour of Punjab Kings, right from the beginning of the match. Rajat Patidar, RCB skipper, won the toss and opted to bowl first, restricting the team to a lowest score of 101. Marcus Stoinis tried to revive the sinking ship of Punjab Kings, but wickets kept falling.

While Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma bagged three wickets each, Yash Dayal took 2 wickets, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Romario Shepherd bagged 2 wickets each. 

Chasing the lowest score of 101, RCB opened with a bang as RCB batters ensured they went to the final smoothly.  Although Virat Kohli was dismissed on 12 by Kyle Jamieson, Phil Salt kept hammering huge shots and completed his half-century off 23 balls. On the other hand, Impact player Mayank Aggarwal left a huge impact on the game before being dismissed by Musheer Khan. 

It was a nightmare for Punjab as RCB did what it did during the previous encounter in the Mullanpur stadium. RCB will be very happy with their performance tonight. 

Now, Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the final against the winner of Qualifier 2, wherein Punjab Kings will face the winner of the Eliminator match, which will be played between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians.
