Paris Olympics 2024, Badminton Match Today, PV Sidhu and HS Prannoy: A day after Lakshya Sen, Satwik and Chirag, kicked off their campaign with a dominating win, all eyes were on PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy who were slated to kick off their campaigns in the Paris Olympics 2024. 

PV Sindhu vs Fathimath Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq

On Sunday, PV Sidhu played against Maldivian badminton player Fathimath Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq and kept on dominating from the first set. She won the first set comfortably with 21-9 and kept on dominating Abdul Razzaq in the second set as well. Sindhu defeated Razzaq 21-6 in the second set to mark victory in the game. 

Sindhu, currently 13th in the badminton world rankings, is competing in the women’s singles event at Paris 2024 and has been drawn in Group M as the 10th seed. Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba (world No. 73) and Fathimath Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq (world No. 111) of Maldives are the other two players in her group.

HS Prannoy vs Fabian Roth

On the other hand, Indian shuttler HS Prannoy will take on Germany's Fabian Roth in the Men's Singles on Sunday at 8 pm.
