NEW-DELHI: Indian Rifle Shooter Nischal Singh showcased remarkable skill and determination at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, securing a well-deserved silver medal in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions event. This achievement marked India's second medal on the final day of the prestigious competition.

In a fiercely competitive final, Nischal displayed immense precision, accumulating a total of 480.0 points to claim the silver medal. She was narrowly edged out by Norway's esteemed shooter, Janet Hague Duestedt, who is the reigning European champion in air rifle and boasts an impressive tally of 5 gold medals in her career.
