Former Teammates Yuvraj and Kohli's Friendly Banter Unveils Insights on Football Prowess and Endearing Bond

Yuvraj Singh on Virat Kohli News: In a recent interview, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh playfully teased current batting maestro Virat Kohli, comparing his football skills to those of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The light-hearted joke shed light on the playful rivalry between the two renowned cricketers, offering insights into their off-field camaraderie and good-natured jibes.

Yuvraj Singh, who retired from international cricket in 2019, humorously remarked that Kohli considers himself akin to Cristiano Ronaldo in football, but according to him, that comparison might not quite hold true. Acknowledging Kohli's skills on the field, Yuvraj cheekily suggested his prowess in football might outshine Kohli's.

The TRS podcast saw Yuvraj candidly sharing insights from their on-field encounters, disclosing that the two have had their fair share of spirited conflicts during football matches. According to Yuvraj, while Kohli may consider himself a fine footballer, Yuvraj believes he might just edge ahead in the sport.

Yuvraj also unveiled his equation with Kohli, highlighting their amicable relationship. Despite good friendship with Kohli, Yuvraj admitted he refrains from disturbing Kohli now due to the latter's busy schedule.

The former all-rounder fondly recalled Kohli's nickname "Cheeku" from his younger days, drawing a contrast with the evolved and busy persona of today's cricketing sensation. Despite the differences in their cricketing and possibly footballing skills, the camaraderie and respect between the two cricketers seem to remain strong.
