On the sidelines of the event, the two met backstage and interacted briefly. On Monday, Tharoor shared photographs from their meeting on X and praised Priyanka for her achievements. He wrote that he caught up with her after more than a decade just before she delivered the closing keynote address at the Harvard India Conference. He described it as remarkable to see how well she is doing and said she has made India proud by succeeding on a global platform where Indians are not often seen. He also complimented her poise and thoughtful presence.

Priyanka responded warmly to Tharoor’s post. She said she was happy to see him again and expressed admiration for his oratory skills and sharp responses. She thanked him for attending her panel discussion and sharing his wisdom, and wished him good health.

On the professional front, Priyanka is set to star in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘Varanasi’ alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The title was announced at the GlobeTrotter event at Ramoji Film City last November, and the film is scheduled for release in 2027. She will also appear in ‘The Bluff’, directed by Frank E Flowers, releasing February 25.
