ICC World Test Championship final to play between Australia and South Africa from June 11
The World Test Championship (WTC), introduced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2019, is a two-year-long tournament where the top nine Test-playing nations compete in a series of bilateral Test matches.
Each match or series carries points based on wins, draws, or ties. At the end of the cycle, the top two teams on the points table qualify for the WTC Final.
In the WTC Final, a one-off Test match between the top two teams from the league table decides the World Test Champion for the cycle.

In the 2021–2023 cycle, India faced Australia, and Australia won by a massive margin of 209 runs.
