India is most likely to have another medal from shooting as our shooters are still having a few matches to play. 

Paris Olympics 2024 Result Update Today: While India has been scripting history with each winning medal in the Paris Olympics 2024, Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale was on the same path as he won a historic bronze medal for the country. After Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh, Swapnil has now brought India's 7th medal in shooting in the history of the Olympics. 

Swapnil Kusale was close to the silver medal but couldn't get through the Chinese shooter but managed to script history with a bronze medal in the finals of 50m Air Rifle 3 Positions. The Maharashtra lad is currently on cloud nine as he has become the first-ever Indian shooter to win a medal in the 50m Air Rifle 3 Positions event. 

Apart from this, Indian shooters have created a record of winning more than three medals in shooting in a single edition of the Olympics. Before the Paris Olympics 2024, India had once won 2 medals in a single edition i.e. 2012 London Olympics wherein Gagan Narang had won a bronze medal in Men's 10m Air Rifle event while Vijay Kumar had won a silver medal in Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event. 

This year, Manu Bhaker also created history for India as she became the first Indian to have won two medals in a single Olympic edition. Manu Bhaker won a bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol event while the pair of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh also won the bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event. 

As Gold medalist Abhinav Bindra expressed, India is most likely to have another medal from shooting as our shooters are still having a few matches to play.
