It has been reported that one person survived the crash and it is being considered that he must be aware of the crash probe details.

Canada plane crash news today: In a shocking incident, a small commuter plane, carrying workers to a remote mine in Canada's far north, crashed after takeoff on Tuesday. As per reports, as many as six people lost their lives. 

According to information, the 'Canada plane crash' incident took place at around 8:50 am local time and the news reports suggested that the accident occurred when the Jetstream twin turboprop airliner operated by Northwestern Air went down just 1.1 kilometers (0.7 miles) from the end of the runway in Fort Smith.

In the meanwhile, it has been reported that one person survived the crash and it is being considered that he must be aware of the crash probe details.

However, there has been no information about the survivor's condition, as of now. The Northwestern Air also revealed that the flight was a charter carrying workers to a mine. Likewise, all flights from Fort Smith have been grounded until Wednesday when an investigation has already begun. Canada's Transportation Safety Board has assigned a team to examine the accident.

On the other hand, R.J. Simpson, Premier of the Northwest Territories, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in Canada's plane crash.

He said, "It is with a heavy heart that I express my deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of those who were aboard the Northwestern Air flight that crashed outside of Fort Smith today." 

Furthermore, Simpson said, “The impact of this incident is felt across the territory. The people we lost were not just passengers on a flight; they were neighbors, colleagues, friends, and loved ones. Their stories and contributions to our communities will not be forgotten."
