Indian National Killed in Canada; Motive Unknown, Latest news: An Indian national was stabbed to death in Rockland, near Ottawa, Canada. The Indian Embassy has confirmed the death and stated that the suspect has been taken into custody by local police. However, the motive behind the murder remains unknown.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of an Indian national in Rockland near Ottawa due to stabbing. Police have stated that a suspect has been taken into custody. We are in close contact through a local community association to provide all possible assistance to the bereaved kin,” the Indian Embassy in Canada wrote on X.

It is yet to be seen what charges the suspect may face.

CTV News, reporting on the incident, quoted the Ontario Provincial Police as saying, “As we are in the early stages of the investigation, no additional information can be shared at this time.”
