Punjab Vidhan Sabha's winter session from Nov 27

Chandigarh: The winter session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha will be held for three days, from November 27 to November 29, 2017, an official spokesman said.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the state Cabinet here today, which also agreed to meet every Wednesday at 3:00 PM to ensure smooth functioning of the government, with timely decisions to boost the momentum of reforms initiated by the Congress regime, he said.  

With the Cabinet's decision, the Punjab government has been authorised to convene the third session of the 15th Punjab Vidhan Sabha as per Article 174 (I) of the Constitution of India, the spokesman said.  The Cabinet was chaired by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
