Chandigarh: In view of the upsurge in coronavirus cases, the Chandigarh administration has declared 25 areas in the Union Territory as containment zones.
The areas that have been declared as containment zones are part of sector 15, 22, 23, 28, 30A, 32D, 35D, 38A, 40C, 41B, 42B, 42C, 43B, 44B, 45C, 46A, 49A, 63 and village Khuda Ali Sher.

The order states that the Chairman of the National Executive Committee has "conveyed that the guidelines for surveillance, containment, and caution issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs will be in force up to April 30."
