Both Gangsters are Most wanted by Law

MOHALI: Proclamation notice has been issued against gangster Arshdeep Dalla and Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Both of them are hiding in Canada and are operating their gang from abroad. Both are Most wanted by law under which a notice has now been issued against them.

Special CBI-cum-NIA judge Rakesh Kumar Gupta's court has issued a notice under Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), seeking the production of the accused, who are believed to be operating from Canada. If the gangsters Arshdeep Dalla and Hardeep Nijjar do not appear in court by May 18, then both of them will be declared fugitives and further legal action will be initiated.

A case was registered by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on October 8, 2021 under various sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). It is worth noting here that many cases have been registered against these two. The NIA had earlier announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh on the Canada-based head of the KTF, who was linked to the 2021 conspiracy to kill a Hindu priest in Jalandhar, Punjab.

Notably, Arsh Dalla is a resident of Moga, Punjab and is now living in Canada. He is involved in many terrorist activities. A red corner notice was also issued against him in 2022. Similarly, Hardeep Nijjar is close to Arsh Dalla. According to the Union Home Ministry, Arshdeep Dalla is close to the wanted terrorist Hardeep Nijjar. These terrorist activities are linked to murder, extortion, large-scale drug and arms trafficking.
