Spokesman News Service: Chandigarh, November 26, 2018: The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday criticised Akali Dal and Congress leaders for trying to get political mileage from opening of Shri Kartarpur Sahib corridor. The AAP leader said that Akali leaders who desecrated Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Congress leaders who are trying to save them have no right to say anything about the sikh religion. They said that both parties doing politics over religion is condemnable.

Addressing the media at Chandigarh, the leader of opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha Harpal Singh Cheema, core committee chairman Principal Budhram, MLA Aman Arora, kissan wing president Kultar Singh Sandhwan, MLA Rupinder Kaur Ruby and spokesperson Neel Garg said that both the conventional parties have been trying to politicise the issue since the talks of opening of Sri Kartarpur Sahib have commenced.

AAP leaders said that writing the name of Badal family who is responsible on inaugral stone is condemnable and also exposes the bonhomie between Capt. Amarinder Singh and Badals. By doing this the govt. has hurt the sentiments of crores of Guru Nanak Sahib devotees.

AAP leaders criticised the action of minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and said that he must have taken note of it before the event and should have abstain from disturbing the religious ceremony. They said that the prayers of Sikh sangat living in the different parts of world is responsible for the initiative taken by both governments.

AAP leaders said that the representatives of all political parties must have invited without any partiality but ignoring the democratically elected AAP MLA is display of low level mentality of govt. representatives. They said that AAP MLAs pray to almighty and demand from the govt. to accomplish the work as soon as possible so that the sangat can pay obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib gurdwara.

Paying respect to the police officers and civilians who laid their lives protecting the country on 10th anniversay of Mumbai terror attack, AAP leaders said that anybody who has done anything to protect the unity of country will always be remembered by the people of country. Greeting people on national constitution day, AAP leaders said that people of country must follow the law of and land by walking on the footsteps of great leaders.
