Couple was arrested from Ranbir Singh Pura area of J&K

CHANDIGARH: The Police has detained a couple who was very close to Papalpreet Singh, the associate of 'Waris Punjab De' organization chief Amritpal Singh from Jammu. The couple was arrested from Ranbir Singh Pura area of  Jammu and Kashmir. The couple has been identified as Amrik Singh and his wife Paramjit Kaur. Amrik Singh was in touch with Amritpal before March 18. They have been detained on the information of Punjab Police.

Notably, The Couple has been handed over to the Punjab Police for further investigation. It is worth mentioning here that yesterday, the Punjab Police arrested a woman named Baljit Kaur during a joint operation with the Haryana Police. The woman was arrested on charges to giving shelter to Amritpal Singh and his associate Papalpreet Singh at her home in Kurukshetra in Haryana. According to sources, Baljit Kaur, who sheltered Amritpal at home, connected with Papalpreet two and a half years ago through his YouTube channel.
