
Tandrust Punjab Mission: Sarkaria plants saplings at head office of Water Resources Dept
Chandigarh, August 24: Under the Tandrust Punjab mission, the Revenue and Water Resources Minister Mr. Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria has planted saplings at head office of the Water Resources Department in Sector-18 here today. To make the Punjab clean and green, a spokesperson said,
about 15000 saplings have been planted at various places in the state by the Water Resources department under the Tandrust Punjab Mission. Drainage wing of the Water Resources Department has prepared a new project to plant saplings on the adjoining land of rivers. According to the spokesperson,
after approval to the project more saplings would be planted. He said that the Tandrust Punjab Mission is being run successfully by the department and new saplings are being planted in canal colonies, rest houses and other places.
