Chandigarh, The Punjab Revenue Department has decided to open the all offices of Sub Registrars/Joint Sub Registrars on Saturday to clear accumulated registration work.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the department said that this decision has been taken to clear the pile up registration work in Sub Registrars' offices due to unscheduled holidays in previous days.

All offices of Sub Registrars and Joint Sub Registrars would be remained open on August 25, 2018 and all staff will be present in the offices.

To clear the backlog, he further said, the department has also instructed the staff to work after 5 pm in working days. These instructions have been sent to the Sub Registrar and Joint Registrar's Offices.
