Vikramjit Singh has filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court challenging his victory in Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Vikramjit Singh has alleged in the petition that Amritpal Singh, who contested from Khadoor Sahib seat, hid several important information in his nomination form.

Vikramjit alleged that Amritpal has also not given full details of the expenditure incurred on his election. During the election, many meetings were held daily in his support and no details were given about the vehicles and election material used besides, it has not been told from where the expenditure was made, the petitioner said. 

He further alleged that religious places were also used in his election campaign and were promoted on social media without permission.

Many such allegations have been made and a demand has been made to the High Court to cancel his election. The Punjab and Haryana High Court may hear the matter soon.
