Spokesman News Service, Chandigarh, 18th Oct'18: Tejinder Kaur, Retd. IAS assumed charge as the Chairperson of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission at Punjab Civil Secretariate. Tejinder Kaur is an IAS officer (Retd) of 1973 Batch. She Retired from the service as Principal Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Training in September 2009. After her retirement, she was appointed as the Chairperson of Punjab State Infrastructure regulatory Authority for Next five year the term of which was expired in the year 2014.

After assuming the charge Mrs. Tejinder Kaur held a meeting of the Members of State Schedule Castes Commission to take stock of the activities of the commission. In this meeting Mr. Prabhdeyal Rampur, Raj Kumar Hans and Tarsem Singh Siyalka were present. Mrs. Tejinder Kaur asked the members to work with missionary zeal to deliver justice to the unprivileged sections of the society in time bound manner.
