Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia's Petition Bail Rejected, Latest News: The Mohali court on Monday i.e. on August 18, dismissed the bail petition of senior Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia.

Special Public Prosecutor Ferry Sofat speaking to ANI, said, "After detailed arguments on the bail plea filed by Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia, a Mohali court has rejected the bail plea of Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia...SAD leader can challenge the decision in the High Court"

Advocate Damanbir Singh Sobti told ANI, "A completely illegal notice was sent under BNS Section 94... It is a law that nobody can be a witness against themselves... The court has granted time for a reply and allowed the parties liberty to approach the court and the next date of hearing is 26th September... There is nothing apart from Bhagwant Mann's ego in this case..."
