The Punjab school education department has directed the District Education Officers and School Heads to motivate the students

Chandigarh: The Punjab school education department has directed the District Education Officers and School Heads to motivate the students of government schools to participate in the online Science Fest being held at Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that an online science fest would be organized on 28th November 2020 at Pushpa Gujral Science City Kapurthala.

The students can display their innovative ideas in it through models. Registration for this science fest can be done till November 22. The registration fee for this is Rs 100 per student/model. Registration in this regard can be done at www.pgsciencecity.org.

According to the spokesperson, this course is not compulsory for the students but it can help the students to increase their knowledge. The winning students will be given a cash prize of Rs 500 to Rs 5000 and the participating students will be given certificates.
