The Health and Labour Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu today met injured farmers who were returning from Delhi.

Chandigarh: The Health and Labour Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu today met injured farmers who were returning from Delhi.  These farmers belong to village Majatri and Rangian of  District Mohali.

Giving details, Health and Labour Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu said that these farmers were riding in a four-wheeler and had a collision with a tipper at Bhagomajra, Mohali.

Two farmers Deep Singh from Popna, Mohali and Sukhdev Singh Dadiana, Fatehgarh Sahib died whereas 4 farmers who were serious, referred to PGIMER and Govt. Hospital 32, Chandigarh.

Sidhu said that 3 farmers are put under treatment at Civil Hospital, Mohali where he met with them and instructed the SMO Dr. Areet Kaur to ensure the quality treatment of injured. He said that two farmers were discharged from hospitals.
