Security Forces Recover Significant Amount of Heroin, Ongoing Crackdown Against Drug Trafficking

FAZILKA: In a Joint Operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Special Security and Operation Cell (SSOC) in Fazilka successfully seized 1.710 kilograms of heroin. The Director General of Police (DGP) for Punjab made this announcement through an official update on Twitter. The joint operation represents a concerted effort to curb the illegal drug trade that has been plaguing the region.

The DGP Punjab also revealed that, in cumulative efforts, security forces have now confiscated a total of 24.710 kilograms of heroin, a significant step in their ongoing fight against drug trafficking. This particular seizure was a result of targeted actions against Malkit Kali and his associates, adding to the total confiscated from the illicit network. Notably, An official FIR has been lodged at the Special Security and Operation Cell (SSOC) Fazilka, reflecting the authorities' commitment to enforcing the law and bringing those involved in drug trafficking to justice.
