Chandigarh: Punjab education department has completed 6th phase of special campaign to aware people from the Corona epidemic.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the department said that the teachers and officers/employees of all the government schools had educated the people of the state about taking precautionary measures to defeat the Covid-19.
Punjab School Education Board
During the outreach campaign, the teachers instructed the general public on how to wash their hands as well as how to wear masks and keep physical distance. The general public was also explained in detail about the use of these precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The spokesperson said that during door to door campaign in 6th phase, teachers apprised the general public about the symptoms of the corona affected patient and urged them to be vigilant.
The general public was also urged to take special care of the elderly and children and to follow the government's guidelines regarding the gathering of a certain number of people during social functions.
Coronavirus
The spokesperson further said that during this time people were encouraged to download the COVA app in their mobiles and were also made aware about the services available through this app. There was great enthusiasm among the general public to defeat the Corona epidemic.
Public awareness teams were assured of full implementation of the precautions to be taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
