Punjab is the 1st such state in the country, which has taken the decision to color code the stamp paper: CM Mann

CHANDIGARH: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced color coding stamp paper for industry in Punjab. The Chief Minister has launched green stamp paper for the industry today. CM Mann said that when an industrialist gets his industry registered, he will be given a green stamp paper, which will be given clearance in two weeks. With this, the construction of the factory can be started soon. This will reduce the hardships of many industrialists and the traders will not have to go round the offices.

Earlier, the traders used to deposit money and keep paying interest, which caused them a lot of loss. The Chief Minister said that when the factory is ready, then the pollution and forest certificate will be stamped on the same stamp paper. This  stamp paper means that the factory owner has all N0C cleared. If after a year or two an official comes to do some kind of checking in the factory, he will be shown this stamp paper only.
