The Court issued the said order while hearing the petition filed by Ishjit Randhawa and Sanjot Randhawa, sons of late producer Gurdev Singh Randhawa. It has been argued in the petition that on 12 October 2012 Amar Singh Chamkila's widow had given her father the right to make a biopic of her husband in writing. After the death of her father, the accused made a biopic on Amar Singh Chamkila and Bibi Amarjot Kaur with connivance.
