Noted gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, who was tested positive for Covid-19 two days ago, has now tested negative. The gangster is undergoing treatment at the prison ward of the Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.

CoronavirusHe was tested positive on May 2 in Batala. He was taken from Patiala Central Jail to Batala on production warrant April 30.

After he tested positive, his sample was taken again and sent to GMC, Amritsar. This time, he was tested negative. His sample was also tested by a private lab, which too found him negative.

In the meanwhile, prison ward at the Patiala hospital has been converted into an isolation facility.

The doctors confirmed that he was healthy and did not show any Covid-19 symptoms.
